Volleyball Pictures and a Puppy

This is Zoe
and
Chloe
our new puppy.
We got her
just before
we made
volleyball pictures
this week.

She weighs 2.7 lbs.

This blog is not
about her,
though.

It is about
Zoe,
more photos
of her
and
her friends.

The Three Amigos:

Two of Zoe's best friends
(she has many best friends)
whom she misses
very much
because
they moved up
to the JV team.

My volleyball player...growing up so quickly!

Two more volleyball players who are growing up quickly!

  It's not about
Chloe
but they do
make
a cute pair!

The Lady Falcon Volleyball Team

This is my daughter's
volleyball team.

We have had such
a good year.
She was very sad
when her friends
moved up to the
Junior Varsity team
but she did not
want to try out
so we didn't.

We decided that God
has us where
He wants us.
He always does
things well -
not always easy,
but very well.

Here are some
of Zoe's beautiful,
sweet, talented
teammates
(and Zoe, too.)

We are very
thankful
for these girls,
their families,
our coaches,
and how God
is using them to
make us more
                                                                    like Jesus!

More Senior Photos

This is one of
   Alex's best friends.
Darby.
      They are new best friends
       but fast best friends.
They really get along
well and have a
great bit in common.

One of the largest
commonalities
is Disney.
Alex and  Darby
shared a
birthday party
this year.

It took a  while
for her mom and I
to convince
the girls
that seventeen year olds
do not have
Disney Princess parties!

Darby, her mom,
Alex and I
will be heading
to the great
Walt Disney World
for the girls'
senior trip.
We really are
looking forward
to a week of
adventure,
rides,
good food,
fun,
laughter,
and of course,
princesses!

Disney Princesses
prepare
to meet
the
Huntsville
Princesses!

Senior Days

So, one would think
since I have been
through the
Senior Year
of one child
I would be
prepared.

This is my Alex.
She is nearing the end
of her high school days.
She was the
hardest
to bring into
this world...
four days of
labor,
forceps
to get her
out
and lots of
pain.
   She is so much
  like me.
This has been
difficult, too.
She and I butt
heads alot.
Try everyday
about something.
She doesn't realize
that I have been
there and done that
like her
so many times.
I know she
needs to make
her own way.
It is just hard
                                                           for me to let her.

She is going to
be fine...
no, great.
She is very
creative,
smart,
sensitive,
talented,
caring,
fun-loving,
and
compassionate.
This year will
go by quickly.

Ready or not,
here we go.
Ready or not,
here she goes.
Ready or not
they are flying
out the door...
one by one.
