Dawson Wade

This is my sweet, great nephew, 

Dawson Wade Higginbotham.

 I met him last week

when we went to 

Dauphin Island

for our vacation.

 His mom and big brother
came to see us at the beach
and I was able to babysit
while they played.

I was overjoyed to get to
capture these sweet images
while he slept.
 Isn't he an angel?

He favors my dad
in this photo. He also
favors my brother,
Barry, who would
have been thrilled
to know his grand
children if he had
lived.  Dawson
and his brother
Devin would have
loved their PawPaw
Barry, too!

I will forever love
babies...



sleeping,
awake, crying,
laughing. They
are the hope
that tomorrow
will come...and hopefully will be better than today.

Chloe

 This beautiful baby girl is

Chloe.

She is one of the

newest people

in our world and

in my life.

It was such a joy

to photograph

her and her parents.

She was so

 pleasant and happy,
such a joy! 

It is hard to believe,

I know,

but 

she is even 

more precious

in person!

These are her

gorgeous

parents.

You can 

see why

baby Chloe

is so 

beautiful!

She found her favorite

resting place

and 

it wasn't

long before

she was

out like a light.

So precious...

awake or 

asleep.

Daddy's

strong 

arms

keep 

you safe,

Senior Days

So, one would think

since I have been

through the

Senior Year 

of one child

I would be

prepared.

This is my Alex.

She is nearing the end

of her high school days.

She was the 

hardest

to bring into

this world...

four days of 

labor,

forceps

to get her

out

and lots of

pain.

   She is so much  

  like me.            

This has been

difficult, too.

She and I butt

heads alot.

Try everyday

about something.

She doesn't realize

that I have been

there and done that

like her

so many times.

I know she 

needs to make 

her own way.

It is just hard

                                                           for me to let her.

She is going to

be fine...

no, great.

She is very 

creative,

smart, 

sensitive,

talented,

caring,

fun-loving,

and 

compassionate.

This year will 

go by quickly.

Ready or not,

here we go.

here she goes.

they are flying

out the door...

one by one.
